Sticky HBG does more DPS because you can shit out stickies with a 4 size clip. However it's pretty immobile so it can take some getting used to. Really if you want an easy to use LBG you can use for nearly anything, go with Rapid Fire Pierce. The barroth bowgun can be built really early and can carry you till you can build the Nargacuga LBG which you can use all the way up to endgame Master Rank upgrading it as you go.

Currently running a Normal 3 build with the Zinogre LBG, Critical Firepower, Weakness Exploit 3, Normal Up 3, Crit Boost 3, Crit Eye 5, Attack Boost 5, Recoil Down 3, Reload Speed 3, Ballistics 2 and Evade Extender 2. Malzeno LBG, Shagaru LBG, Narga and now Lucent LBG are all really strong Pierce LBGs. There’s not rly that many good endgame spread LBGs.
