It's good. My favorite Beauregard so far. The characters are well fleshed out, the kids go through some horrific stuff but you do find people to root for and you will absolutely hate the villains. The plot is definitely a little hokey but I dare anyone to write a book about deadly playground equipment that's actually literary. Spritepike.

This is the 3rd book I've read by this author, the other two being Scary Bastard and The Slob, and what those two lacked in character development and story progression, Playground delivered.
